Estamos comenzando la segunda fase del proyecto sobre sitios sagrados con nuestros aliados, Tradiciones para el mañana. Luego de seis años de recorridos por el territorio ancestral, hoy tenemos un inventario bastante completo de los sitios, sus plantas medicinales asociadas, sus principales amenazas, las historias y el conocimiento tradicional sobre el cuidado de los sitios sagrados.

Ahora buscamos establecer lo que llamamos corredores espirituales y culturales, de manera que en esta segunda fase, priorizaremos la conexión de estos sitios, en sentido ambiental, espiritual y cultural. Pretendemos generar incidencia con las autoridades ambientales locales en sus políticas públicas para la conservación de los sitios y corredores.

We are beginning the second phase of the sacred sites project with our allies, Traditions for Tomorrow. Six years after we began the travels around the sacred sites, we have today a quite complete inventory of the sites and their associated healing plants, their major threats, the traditional stories and traditional knowledge on care and management of these sacred sites.

Now, we are up to stablishing what we call spiritual, cultural and environmental corridors (pathways); so, in this second phase we are looking forward to the prioritization of the sites’ connection in their environmental, spiritual and cultural senses. We intend to generate incidence on the local environmental authorities and their policies for the conservation of the sites and their connections (corridors).
